Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, varied days including weekends; exact shift times determined by unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate drips including Heparin and Cardizem
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in med-surg/telemetry
Active BLS certification from American Heart Association
Valid Washington RN license or Compact license
Experience with telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Ability to titrate heparin and cardizem drips

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Compassionate patient-centered care approach
