Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekend rotation (4 weekends in 8 weeks)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry for critically ill patients
Administer and titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
Provide comprehensive neuro assessments for stroke and brain injury patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for fast-paced patient turnover
Maintain sterile field for central line and foley catheter care
Participate in bedside reporting to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a Neuro Tele or similar unit
Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Demonstrated competency in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Ability to titrate cardiac and insulin drips
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Strong knowledge of neuro assessment and stroke protocols
Experience with central line dressing changes and foley catheter insertion
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover
