Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Tacoma, Washington

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekends, holidays, and limited call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures
Start IVs as needed for exams
Operate GE and Philips imaging equipment
Utilize EPIC, McKesson PACS, and CVPACS for image management and archiving
Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging
Maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology
Current BLS certification
Active Washington State License
ARRT-N or NMTCB certification
Proficiency in IV insertion
Experience with EPIC, McKesson PACS, and CVPACS

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging protocols and safety standards
Skill in operating GE and Philips equipment
Ability to perform stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures
Excellent patient care and communication skills
