Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, includes weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a full range of clinical laboratory tests as a generalist on night shift
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
Utilize EPIC Beaker for accurate specimen tracking and result reporting
Collect blood specimens via phlebotomy on rare occasions
Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards
Collaborate with healthcare team to support patient care
Participate in orientation and ongoing training as required

Qualifications

Current MLT or MT certification (ASCP or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a generalist in a clinical lab
BLS certification required
Experience with EPIC Beaker LIS system
Phlebotomy skills preferred
Valid driver's license required (60-mile radius rule)
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Generalist laboratory knowledge including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank
MLT/MT proficiency
EPIC Beaker LIS
Phlebotomy
Quality control and infection control practices
BSL safety protocols
