Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, with weekends and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse adult-geriatric patient population across multiple MS-Tele units
Float within a 60-mile zone covering five hospitals, adapting quickly to different environments
Monitor and titrate heparin drips as ordered
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Manage patients with cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, surgical, and other conditions
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior neuro experience preferred but not required
Ability to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in MS-Tele nursing and patient monitoring
Knowledge of cardiac, neuro, ortho, and oncology care
Comfortable with titration of heparin and other common drips
Strong communication and adaptability for rapid floating assignments
Experience with EPIC or similar EHR systems preferred
