Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in an urgent care setting
- Assess patient conditions, perform triage, and initiate appropriate treatments
- Administer medications, wound care, and other procedures as ordered
- Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up instructions
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the EHR
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Experience in urgent care, emergency department, or fast-paced clinical setting
- Ability to work independently and make quick, sound clinical decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in IV starts, phlebotomy, and wound care
- Knowledge of urgent care protocols and procedures
- Comfort with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Team-oriented with a patient-first attitude
