Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments for both inpatient and outpatient populations
Collaborate with a supportive nursing and therapy team to deliver patient-centered care
Manage a diverse caseload including ortho, neuro, fractures, and general debility patients
Precept new staff and assist with orientation as needed by the unit
Adapt treatment plans to meet individual patient goals and promote functional independence

Qualifications

Active Texas Physical Therapy license and national certification
Current BLS certification
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
Wound care experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to various patient diagnoses including ortho, neuro, and wound care
