Location: Kearney, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to PCU patients with cardiac, vascular, sepsis, stroke, and other complex conditions
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, titrate IV drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, and Cardizem
Manage arterial lines and perform thorough patient assessments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska (or compact license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of PCU or telemetry experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency in arterial line management and drip titration
Strong communication and adaptability skills for a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Proficiency in managing titratable drips and high-flow oxygen
Ability to float to MedSurg or ICU as needed
Cultural sensitivity to serve diverse patient populations
Team player with flexibility and willingness to learn
