Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex laboratory tests across all departments including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and the EPIC Beaker laboratory information system
Perform phlebotomy procedures on rare occasions as needed
Ensure quality control, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety protocols
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic results
Follow infection control and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

Active MLT or MT certification (ASCP or equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory
Proficiency with EPIC Beaker LIS
Ability to perform phlebotomy when required
Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
BLS certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Generalist laboratory skills across all departments
Expertise in EPIC Beaker system
Phlebotomy skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and teamwork
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
