Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, call requirement with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care
Operate advanced imaging equipment including Siemens and Phillips systems
Assist in STEMI interventions and manage critically ill patients
Collaborate with cardiologists and respiratory therapists in a fast-paced environment
Utilize specialized devices such as Impella, IABP, and laser technology during procedures
Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the Cath Lab and IR suites

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification and state licensure in California
Fluoroscopy license required
Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or cardiac catheterization lab
Experience with coronary and peripheral angiography
Proficiency with balloon pumps and Impella devices
BLS and ACLS certifications required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Merge Hemo hemodynamic monitoring system
Familiarity with Siemens and Phillips imaging equipment
Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
Ability to respond quickly to emergent STEMI cases
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
