Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating on-call and weekend requirements as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist interventional radiologists during invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Coordinate the interventional radiology physician schedule and patient flow
Collaborate with floor nurses and imaging technicians for seamless patient care
Monitor sedation patients, assist with pacers, and place peripheral IVs
Work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced radiology setting

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
Ability to work on-call and rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and patient care
Proficiency in EMR systems, especially Cerner
Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
Expertise in invasive procedure assistance and sedation management
