Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (day shift) or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night shift), rotating with every other weekend and holiday requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients in a collaborative setting
Independently manage all areas of care including L&D, PP, routine and intermediate nursery
Monitor and titrate IV drips such as Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Assist with emergency stabilization and transfer of ventilated neonates
Float to other units as needed to support the team
Maintain accurate fetal monitoring and central surveillance

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license (or ability to obtain 90-day emergency license)
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent L&D, postpartum, and nursery experience
Strong independent clinical skills and ability to work with minimal support

Knowledge & Skills

Labor & Delivery nursing
Postpartum and newborn care (routine and intermediate nursery)
Fetal monitoring and EFM charting (Centricity Perinatal)
Titratable drip management (Pitocin, insulin, magnesium sulfate)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
