Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate labor and delivery care to mothers and newborns in a rural hospital setting
Manage antepartum, labor, postpartum, and mom/baby couplet patients
Titrate medications including magnesium and oxytocin per protocol
Assist with neonatal resuscitation and CPAP/BiPAP as needed
Collaborate with a close-knit team to ensure safe, quality outcomes
Float to MSP/ED for helping hands or 1:1 patient sitting when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Able to pass fit testing for N95 respirators (no facial hair that interferes)
Commitment to 13-week contract with limited RTO (7 days or less)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EFM monitoring (OB Trace Vue)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a rural setting
Knowledge of AWHONN staffing guidelines
Comfort with neonatal respiratory support equipment
