Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee both the Cath Lab and ICU departments, ensuring high-quality patient care and clinical excellence
• Provide pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedural support, and post-procedure recovery for cardiac, vascular, and EP cases
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, enhancing competency and fostering a positive team culture
• Moderate sedation and manage vasoactive drips in the Cath Lab and ICU settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and department efficiency

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of RN experience with 1 year in clinical leadership or management
• Current RN license in Kansas or compact state (NLC)
• ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency required (or willingness to obtain)
• Fluoro license preferred but not required
• Strong critical care and telemetry skills with ability to titrate drips

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cardiac, vascular, and EP procedures in Cath Lab
• Critical care management of cardiac/respiratory patients including Sepsis, DKA, and STEMI
• Competency in vasoactive drug administration and blood product management
• Ability to read telemetry strips and perform intraprocedural monitoring
• Leadership skills to build culture and enhance nursing practice
