Shift Type: Days or Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), typically 3-4 shifts per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU and PCU
Administer medications and titrate drips including Levophed, amiodarone, heparin, and propofol
Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care
Perform cardiac monitoring and interpret telemetry strips
Float between ICU and PCU units as needed to maintain safe staffing levels

Qualifications

Current RN license in Texas
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year critical care experience
Ability to titrate vasoactive drips and manage ventilated patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in managing cardiac, sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure patients
Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, and Airvo
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
