Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, AM/PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a LDRP setting
Circulate and scrub in the OR for cesarean sections
Monitor fetal heart rates using GE Centricity EFM system
Titrate drips including Pitocin, LR, Fentanyl, and Labetalol
Manage obstetrical emergencies such as hypertension and hemorrhage
Collaborate with OB techs and neonatologists to ensure positive outcomes
Read telemetry strips and ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience in L&D, postpartum, and mother-baby care
Ability to circulate and/or scrub in OR for cesarean sections
Proficiency in titrating common drips
Oregon RN license or pending (emergency license available upon offer)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios
Familiarity with GE Centricity EFM system
Understanding of obstetrical emergencies and evidence-based care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to a closed unit environment
