Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, including weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments according to hospital policies
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes with critical thinking
Provide education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications

Active Alaska state RN license
Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proficiency in Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis systems

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of nursing process and primary nursing principles
