Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every third weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections and other procedures
Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including high-risk OB
Perform newborn assessments and routine baby care
Float to postpartum unit to care for mothers and infants as needed
Triage patients over 20 weeks with pregnancy complaints
Administer and titrate medications like Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including residents and CRNAs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Ability to circulate in the OR
Experience with newborn assessments and postpartum care
Valid driver's license for radius compliance

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EFM (Obix system preferred)
Knowledge of high-risk OB and routine obstetric care
Experience with IV drips (Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility and a positive attitude
