Location: Folsom, CA

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays, with on-call standby requirement

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Family Birthing Center, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, titrate Pitocin and occasionally insulin as ordered
Assist with deliveries, including twin deliveries, and provide NRP at delivery
Circulate in the OR for Cesarean sections
Collaborate with OB, anesthesia, and respiratory therapy to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Triage and manage antepartum testing, including NSTs
Float to other Sacramento facilities as needed

Qualifications

At least 1 year of LDRP experience required; 3 years preferred
Will accept L&D only with OR circulating experience; no postpartum-only candidates
Current California RN license
ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced EFM certifications required
Comfortable with NRP at delivery and autonomously managing drips
Must not have been employed by any CommonSpirit facility in the last 12 months

NRP and ACLS skills
