Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to antepartum, triage, labor, postpartum, and newborn patients in a 4-bed LDRP unit
Administer common drips including Pitocin, insulin, fluids, and antibiotics using Alaris IV pumps
Perform nurse-driven examinations and collaborate with charge nurse who does not take a patient assignment
Participate in a pass/fail open-book exam during orientation to ensure clinical competency
Maintain a safe environment adhering to policies such as artificial nail prohibitions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state (50-mile radius rule; must provide driver's license at submission)
Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP or related experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Ability to pass orientation exam with 90% or higher (open book resources provided)
No artificial nails allowed in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Alaris IV pumps and common obstetric drips
Strong assessment skills for antepartum, labor, and postpartum patients
Ability to work effectively in a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Familiarity with blocked scheduling and charge nurse dynamics
