IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Days, 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with on-call weekends (1-2 weekends per month, 30-minute response time)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures with precision and care
Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to assist radiologists
Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Document procedures accurately in Cerner EMR system
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort
Maintain on-call readiness for weekend and holiday coverage

Qualifications

Current ARRT-VI (Radiologic Technology) certification
Valid California Radiologic Technologist license
BLS certification from AHA
Fluoroscopy permit
Experience in interventional radiology or cath lab setting
Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and protocols
Skilled in fluoroscopy and radiation safety practices
Strong patient assessment and monitoring abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to respond quickly in on-call situations
