Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, days and nights, every other weekend, holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to patients in a combined LDRP unit, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate in cesarean sections
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns, and perform routine mother-baby assessments
Titrate critical drips such as magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin
Function seamlessly in both labor and delivery and postpartum settings
Collaborate with a supportive team of OBGYNs, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists available 24/7

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience (no first-time travelers)
Active RN license in Washington or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring preferred
Must be comfortable with LDRP model and independent delivery attendance

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring using Centricity-perinatal system
Expertise in labor support, high-risk pregnancies, and postpartum care
Skilled in circulating C-sections and assisting with deliveries
Ability to titrate IV drips and manage obstetrical emergencies
