Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with rotational call nights and weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures using GE Innova and other advanced equipment
Assist radiologists with diagnostic and interventional cases such as dialysis cath, IVC, TIPPS, and CT-guided biopsies
Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
Operate Cerner and Radnet for documentation and image management
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage

Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiography (RT)(R) is required
VI (Vascular Interventional) certification is preferred
Experience in interventional radiology is highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Cerner and Radnet EMR systems
Skilled in using GE Innova and MedRad Injector
Knowledge of Angiojet and GE Logic Book equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary team
