Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis cases.
Titrate cardiac drips, manage ventilators, and interpret telemetry strips.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.
Support patient recovery and engage families in the care process.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state required.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred.
Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays.
Ability to pass an open-book exam with 90% during orientation.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating cardiac and sedation drips.
Skilled in telemetry interpretation and monitoring.
Knowledge of ventilator management and high-flow oxygen therapy.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with 1:2-3 nurse-to-patient ratios.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
