Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, with holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-risk Level 3 facility
Monitor fetal heart tones and manage antepartum and high-risk labor patients
Circulate and recover C-section patients with confidence
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum unit as needed to support couplet care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada (or compact state)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
AFM certification for fetal monitoring
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent L&D experience preferred
Must be independent and confident in vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and high-risk deliveries

Knowledge & Skills

Expert in fetal monitoring with Cerner EFM system
Proficient in titration of high-risk medications
Strong critical thinking and ability to work in fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
