Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 07:00-19:30 or 19:00-07:30, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers, postpartum couples, and newborns in a 14-bed LDRP unit
Triage patients and manage active labor with AWHONN-standard 1:1 nursing ratios
Circulate in the OR for C-sections and support surgical teams
Care for level 2 special care nursery babies (phototherapy, respiratory support, etc.)
Monitor and titrate medications including Magnesium and Pitocin per physician orders
Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, surgical techs, and providers in a traveler-friendly environment

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years recent L&D experience required
Must have level 2 nursery experience
Active RN license in Washington or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
EFM competency and experience with Centricity/EPIC preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor and delivery, postpartum, newborn nursery, triage, and circulating C-sections
Ability to titrate drips and manage epidurals
Strong teamwork and adaptability in a small, collaborative unit
Scrubbing skills preferred but not required
