Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend and rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate critical care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms, documenting strips as needed
Titrate and manage intravenous drips including cardiac, insulin, and sedation medications
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
Float to PCU or MedSurg when needed, maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska (or compact license accepted)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
Driver's license required for verification of residency radius

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ICU nursing and critical care management
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Experience with titrating drips and ventilator management
Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
