Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, monitoring and responding to changes in condition
• Float to Med-Surg when needed and deliver safe, compassionate care across units
• Participate in 24-hour call rotations and be ready to support unit staffing needs
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EMR (Meditech 6.0 experience preferred)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Support rapid responses and emergency situations by applying ACLS/BLS protocols and sound clinical judgment

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice (or compact licensure where applicable)
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required
• ICU nursing experience required and comfort with night shift assignments
• Willingness to float to Med-Surg as needed
• Experience with Meditech 6.0 preferred, but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care knowledge and ability to manage complex ICU patients
• Comfort working 12-hour night shifts and handling 24-hour call responsibilities
• Proficiency or familiarity with Meditech 6.0 is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for fast-paced clinical environments
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and escalate care appropriately
