Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM, 36 hours per week, rotating days and weekends based on unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced ER environment
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
Minimum 1 year of recent emergency room experience preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
PALS certification is a plus
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing procedures and protocols
Ability to thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Compassionate patient-centered approach
