Shift Type: 40 hours per week, schedule may include weekdays and on-call as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Single scrub cardiac procedures in the CVOR with precision and expertise
Scrub in main OR for a variety of surgeries including ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gyn
Prepare and maintain sterile field throughout surgical procedures
Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently
Ensure all equipment and supplies are ready and functioning
Collaborate with surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience in CVOR or cardiac surgery
Ability to scrub both cardiac and general surgeries
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in sterile technique and aseptic practices
Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment for cardiac and general surgeries
Ability to anticipate needs during complex procedures
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
