Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Varied 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, with overnight call once a week and weekend call 3 days per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular surgeries including CABG, valve repairs, and other heart procedures
Prepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready
Operate surgical equipment and anticipate the needs of the surgeon
Monitor patient vitals and interpret EKG strips during procedures
Collaborate with the OR team for smooth and efficient surgeries

Qualifications

2 years of minimum CVOR experience
BLS and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with Cerner EMR system
Ability to read and interpret EKG strips
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instruments
Proficiency in sterile technique and infection control
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
