Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
Titrate drips such as insulin and Cardizem while monitoring patient response
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication regimens with precision
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments including CVP, A-line, and Swan-Ganz
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians
Float to same-level units to support patient care needs across the facility
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in oncology and trauma settings
Comfort with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
Ability to titrate drips and respond to changing patient conditions
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity
