Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling with weekend and holiday requirements, 36 hours per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-risk L&D setting
Circulate in the OR for C-Sections with confidence and precision
Titrate critical drips including oxytocin and magnesium sulfate
Monitor fetal strips and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Float to postpartum when needed to support the entire mother-baby unit
Collaborate with surgical techs and anesthesia to ensure safe deliveries

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience
Proven ability to circulate C-Sections in the operating room
Experience with fetal monitoring and reading your own strips

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
Comfortable managing high-risk antepartum complications
Knowledge of AWHONN staffing guidelines
Ability to work collaboratively with Level III NICU team
Flexible and willing to float to postpartum as needed
