Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert circulating support across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, techs, and the care team to ensure smooth, safe procedures for patients of all ages
• Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to support the broader surgical services team
• Maintain flexibility as daily schedules shift and adapt to the needs of the OR
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to foster a culture of continuous learning and safety

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong experience across multiple surgical specialties; must be comfortable with neurosurgery and all service lines
• Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
• Valid driver's license at time of submittal to confirm 50-mile radius compliance
• No current full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record
• Comfort working in a 7-OR, 2-endo-suite department without specialized teams
• Understanding of adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric surgical cases
• Willingness to remove artificial nails per facility policy
• Strong teamwork and adaptability to varied daily schedules
