Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adults in a 26-bed inpatient behavioral health unit
Support patients aged 55+ with conditions including dementia and bipolar disorder
Maintain a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio while delivering individualized treatment
Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and well-being
Respond to patient needs during 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends

Qualifications

Active RN license in Utah or compact state
BLS certification required
Experience in behavioral health or psych nursing preferred
Ability to work every third weekend and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Understanding of geriatric psychiatric care
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Comfortable with seclusion protocols and patient safety procedures
