Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs to ensure patient safety on a fast-paced unit
- Administer and titrate medications such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem while closely observing patient responses
- Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and supportive team of nurse aides to deliver seamless bedside care
- Float to cardiac telemetry, med-surg, and ICU overflow units as needed, showcasing your versatility and adaptability
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
- Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Neuro experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
- Proficient with Cerner EMR and WOW documentation
- Comfortable with trached patients, CVA, TBI, and spinal surgery cases
- Ability to maintain sterile field during procedures like Foley insertion and central line care
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
