Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients on a specialized Visual Monitor Unit
- Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to cardiac rhythm changes
- Collaborate with behavioral health techs and security to ensure patient safety
- Administer medications and perform essential nursing skills while maintaining sterile technique
- Support patients with both medical and secondary psychiatric needs in a respectful, patient-centered way
- Float to ED psych holds or other MedSurg floors as needed to support the care team
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience in a 600+ bed facility
- Strong MedSurg/Telemetry skills with Cerner EMR experience
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (two attempts allowed)
- Must successfully complete SIMs Lab skills assessment on day one of orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
- Experience working with patients who have behavioral health needs
- Cerner electronic medical record documentation
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
