Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 10-hour shifts, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, with call for night shift and weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons and the OR team during a variety of surgical cases
Maintain sterile fields and follow strict infection control protocols
Collaborate with anesthesia techs and nurse aides to deliver seamless care
Support both general and specialized procedures including endo and IR cases

Qualifications

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proven experience as a Surgical Tech or OR Tech
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable rotating through weekends and taking call

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with Cerner Surginet EMR
Knowledge of Phillips telemetry and Draeger vents
Ability to scrub and assist across multiple surgical specialties
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
