Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Magnesium and Oxytocin for optimal patient outcomes
Support mom-baby couplets with expert postpartum care and education
Circulate during C-sections to ensure safe deliveries for both mother and baby
Collaborate with a consistent provider team in a rural setting that values independence and strong communication
Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when needed to support fellow patients

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Experience with EFM systems and neonatal respiratory support equipment
Ability to pass required respirator fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Labor & Delivery and Postpartum protocols
Comfort working independently in a rural hospital environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of titratable medications used in antepartum and postpartum care
Familiarity with neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow systems
