Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin and Magnesium with precision
Support families through vaginal and cesarean deliveries with skill and empathy
Triage obstetric patients and assess fetal well-being using advanced monitoring technology
Scrub in for C-sections and assist in the OR when needed
Float to sister units like NICU, Peds, or Med/Surg to lend your expertise wherever it's needed most

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (Advanced preferred), and STABLE certifications required
Minimum 3 years of recent LDRP experience
Comfortable titrating drips and reading fetal monitoring strips
First-time travelers welcome - just bring your passion and readiness to jump right in

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation and telemetry skills
Experience with high-risk OB patients including gestational hypertension and diabetes
Ability to scrub for cesarean sections is highly valued
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced birthing unit
