Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts required in an 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and complex surgeries
Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized recovery plans
Manage IV therapy, wound care, and other acute med-surg needs with confidence and skill
Build meaningful connections with patients and families through clear, supportive communication
Float to various MedSurg units as needed while maintaining excellent standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification required
Rehab experience preferred
Must have Level 1 trauma experience
Comfortable with high patient and family communication

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Strong sterile field technique for procedures like Foley insertion and central line care
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed)
Experience with neuro population including TBI, CVA, and transplant patients
Team player ready to float across MedSurg units
