Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in long-term care
Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching and training
Follow individualized care plans to enhance each resident's quality of life
Administer medications accurately and monitor resident conditions
Promote safety and infection control using universal precautions
Uphold the Choices Philosophy of Care with dignity and respect for all residents

Qualifications

Active Alaska LPN licensure required
BLS (CPR) certification from American Heart Association required
1 year of long-term care nursing experience preferred
New graduates welcome with 8-12 month preceptorship

Education

Associate's degree in nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical leadership skills
Ability to coach and educate nursing support staff
Commitment to safety, integrity, and compassionate care
Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
