Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across both MedSurg and ER units
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients with attention to detail
Titrate critical medications and monitor patient responses
Start IVs and manage PICC lines and ports
Respond swiftly to codes and trauma situations
Perform EKGs and interpret cardiac strips independently
Collaborate with hospitalists and the care team in a small, supportive environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum one year of ER experience
Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing

Knowledge & Skills

Titrate drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Respond to cardiac, stroke, and sepsis codes
Manage swing bed rehab and critical care patients
Document in Meditech EMR and follow EMTALA guidelines
Operate Mindray monitors and perform EKGs
