Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; weekend shifts 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with 1-2 weeknight calls 3:15 PM - 6:45 AM and weekend calls every 3-4 weeks Friday 3:15 PM - Monday 6:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for each case
Assist surgeons during a wide range of procedures including robotics, ortho, neuro, and general surgeries
Maintain sterile fields and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
Float to different specialties and support the unit as a 1:1 sitter when needed
Collaborate with a close-knit team that feels like family

Qualifications

Current CST or NCCT certification
BLS certification required
North Dakota UAP registration
At least 1 year of recent OR experience in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics
Comfortable with Davinci Xi, open bellies, total joints, spinal fusions, and more

Knowledge & Skills

Strong scrub skills across multiple specialties
Quick learner ready to cross-train in new areas
Reliable call response within 15 minutes
Team player who enjoys a supportive, family-like atmosphere
