Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional physical therapy services across inpatient acute care, outpatient, and home health settings
• Deliver personalized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, medical, and pulmonary conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including hospitalists, residents, and intensivists to optimize patient outcomes
• Support early mobility programs and contribute to JCAHO-certified stroke care initiatives
• Float between inpatient and outpatient departments as needed to ensure comprehensive patient coverage
• Document care using Cerner EMR system and maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist license required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations across multiple care settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Cerner EMR documentation
• Experience with orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary rehabilitation
• Knowledge of early mobility protocols and stroke care standards
• Ability to float between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
