Location: Prescott, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips each shift
- Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
- Support patients recovering from total joint replacements
- Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure seamless unit operations
- Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to expand your skill set
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in Cerner
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips
- Some background with CVA and TIA patients
- Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation time
- Total joint replacement experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Comfort managing set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
- Familiarity with BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurse aides and interdisciplinary teams
