Location: Breckenridge, Minnesota

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, D/N rotate, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a Level IV trauma ER setting
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to assess, plan, and implement patient treatments
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret strips with confidence using Mindray telemetry
Float to MedSurg and Swing Bed units to support seamless patient transitions
Respond swiftly to emergencies while maintaining a calm, reassuring presence for patients and families

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
Minimum 2 years of ER experience plus previous MedSurg experience
Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
PALS preferred
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips independently

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ER assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfortable floating between ER, MedSurg, and Swing Bed units
Proficient with Mindray telemetry monitoring
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and adaptable to rotating day/night schedules
