Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP setting
Triage patients and serve as the baby catcher and transition nurse
Titrate Pitocin drips safely and effectively to support labor progression
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with on-call providers to ensure safe deliveries and positive outcomes
Support postpartum recovery and newborn care with attention to detail and warmth

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Current ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
Experience with LDRP, triage, and Pitocin titration required
Ability to function independently in a rural hospital setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP and triage skills
Comfortable serving as baby catcher and transition nurse
Proficient with fetal monitoring and OBIX system
Ability to work collaboratively with limited on-site support
Flexible and adaptable to unit needs
