Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care during EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, and biopsy procedures
Administer moderate sedation when anesthesia support is unavailable
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including hospitalists and respiratory therapists
Document accurately using Cerner-Surginet EMR system
Float to PACU/ACU units as needed to support patient care across the facility
Respond to emergency cases with confidence and clinical expertise

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy nursing experience
Moderate Sedation experience preferred
Cerner charting experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Moderate Sedation administration and monitoring
Cerner-Surginet electronic medical records
Endoscopy and GI lab procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, and ERCP
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
