Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and antepartum patients
Perform vaginal exams and place internal monitors with confidence
Circulate and recover C-section patients independently
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum and other units as census requires
Read and interpret fetal monitor strips using ACLS and AFM skills
Collaborate with 24/7 OB/Neonatologist and Anesthesia teams

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact license
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Minimum one year of L&D experience preferred
Comfortable working independently with high-risk patients
Willingness to float to postpartum and other units

Knowledge & Skills

Level 3 high-risk labor and delivery expertise
Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Vaginal exam and internal monitor placement
C-section circulation and recovery
Titration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Cerner electronic fetal monitoring system
